Welcome to the new HWCN Mailfilter, using SpamAssassin(tm).

E-mail filtering attempts to identify and optionally block/delete mail that is suspected to be unsolicited commercial e-mail (often referred to as spam). 'SpamAssassin' performs a complicated series of tests for various words, phrases and other signs that a message may be spam, and accumulates a score for all the tests that match. Any message whose score exceeds the threshold you set, will be considered spam, and either marked or deleted, depending on the mail filter settings you choose.

The following link will take you to the Mailfilter Setup Page, where you can create/edit a whitelist of frequent contacts, and select how sensitive your filter will be. You can change settings, or turn off the filter completely, at any time.
